What is Closed During G20 Summit 2023

The 2023 G20 Summit will be held in Delhi, India from September 9 to 10, 2023. The summit will be held at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre (IECC) in Pragati Maidan.

The following areas in Delhi will be closed during the summit:

  • The entire New Delhi district will be designated as a ‘Controlled Zone-I.’

  • Malls
  • Markets
  • Schools and colleges
  • Cloud kitchens and delivery services

The following restrictions are probably in the region within the Controlled Zone-I and Regulated Zone:

  • There can be a ban on the access of heavy and mild items motors.
  • Only essential commodities like fruits, milk, greens, and scientific materials can be allowed to enter the world.
  • There could be regulations on the movement of humans.
  • There might be a heightened protection presence.

The Delhi government has cautioned citizens to keep away from the location across the summit venue and to plan their journey accordingly.
